The Venue
Grōwan, Paradise House, Hereford HR1 3EN
We feel lucky to be sharing this special day at Grōwan, the home of our friends Sally, Adam, Jessica and Bailey. Depending on the weather, parts of the day will be outside and others, such as dining and dancing, will be under the shelter of the barn. In the evening we’ll have warmth from a fire pit, but please bring something warm to wear when the sun goes in for the night. We’ll keep our eye on the weather and update you if there turns out to be a major weather event (let’s hope for sun!). Underfoot is a mix of gravel, wood and grass, some of it uneven. A gentle note to anyone who fancies wearing heels - you might want to wear a sturdy pair. There will be a chair for everyone, so no need to stand at any point if that feels uncomfortable, and the only walk will be from the front of the house when you arrive, to the back of it.
Parking
There is space for a few cars at the venue. These will be reserved for guests who might have a particular access need such as not being able to walk long distances, or coming to the wedding with small children. If you have a particular access need and would prefer to park at Grōwan, you can let us know when you RSVP. More on-street parking can be found locally in the village of Marden, which is around a 10 minute walk from Grōwan. If you’re bringing a car, please try to lift-share with people you know. We encourage guests to get the train and a taxi where possible, more on this in the ‘Travel’ section of the website.
